This one's for all you glamour girls out there.

Gather the Goods
• 1 gallon latex or oil-based primer
• 1 gallon high-gloss paint (bright white shown here)
• 1 quart high-gloss paint for panels (bubblegum pink shown)
• Painter's tape
• 2-inch-wide angled paintbrush

First, prime the raw wood; let dry completely. Apply two coats of paint (let dry between coats). Use painter's tape to outline headboard and footboard panels. Paint panels a contrasting color.
