built-in reading lamps--flanked by smaller niches containing display shelves. Painted a vivid yellow that is echoed in the
striped bedspread, the wall contrasts with adjacent white surfaces to magnify the room's sunlit quality. The bed sits on a

Who says the back porch has to be attached to the house? One Memphis family enjoys theirs, which is nestled in the heart of the back yard. Although the structure was part of the property when the family bought the home several years ago, its size and scale seem ideal for today.
