Golfer's Delight
Photo: Jean Allsopp; Stylist: Mary Leigh Fitts
Small rooms can be the most fun to decorate. Take the wet bar in this home in Haig Point on Daufuskie Island, South Carolina. Golf is a major hobby in the commnunity and for this family, so they chose to decorate the space with ideas and collections from their many years of golfing. The walls are paneled and glazed a deep green to create a golf atmosphere, and tartan fabric was used for window treatments and the rug. This room, with its wonderful ideas and memories, is a place for all to enjoy.

Year-round Garden Room
This garden room is a Northwest take on the lanai. It's open on two sided and provides flexible options for outdoor living. The architect conceived it as a summer deck that would "float" in a sea of salal, but it was transformed into an all-season outdoor room when he and the owners decided to add a roof, a fireplace, and walls that slide closed in stormy weather. - Integrated Cabinets
