The upper cabinets in this kitchen were replaced with modern art to open the small kitchen. A Carrara marble-topped island doubles as a work space and dining counter for the family. Adding charm and a crisp pop of color, the Shaker-style cabinets were trimmed in a soothing blue but the moving parts were kept white.
