Sunny Bathroom
Thomas J. Story
A former sleeping porch was turned into a sunny second-floor bathroom overlooking a rear garden. To further open up the space, the architect/homeowner added a band of mirrors as the backsplash behind the tub, creating a visual link with the vanity and the metal-framed window system.

Integrated Cabinets
These homeowners designed this kitchen using the concept of integrated space. Visually the kitchen, rimmed with a boomerang-curved bar, is a seamless extension of the living and dining rooms. Can't spot the refrigerator? That's the idea. Panels of maple with insets of bird's-eye maple disguise the appliance. - Dream Time
