Secret Garden
Lanterns of all sizes and shapes suspend from the branches of an Italian plum tree. Sharva hung them for daughter Erin’s backyard
wedding. “They created a romantic setting for the evening,” she recalls. A circular seat surrounding a plum tree originally
appeared in Seattle Children’s Theatre’s whimsical production of Frog and Toad. “Some of our very favorite things have come
from theater,” Sharva says. “We love things with a certain patina to them. They have to be old, or at least look old to us.”

Outdoor Paradise
Who says the back porch has to be attached to the house? One Memphis family enjoys theirs, which is nestled in the heart of the back yard. Although the structure was part of the property when the family bought the home several years ago, its size and scale seem ideal for today. The screened porch section measures 8 x 12 feet; exposed beams on the inside give it an open feel. To the left, an enclosed room that's used for storing outdoor equipment takes up another eight feet. - Integrated Cabinets
