Jim's band, Sasquatch, broke up, but he still plays the guitar (and banjo and bass). Dan "borrowed" the dog painting from Jim's mother. "I'm famous for stealing the good stuff," the designer says with a laugh.

Although the structure was part of the property when the family bought the home several years ago, its size and scale seem ideal for today.
