A light-blue shade on the cabinets and island complements the sea-inspired backsplash and softens stainless steel appliances and dark countertops and floors. The hint of iridescent shimmer of the tile backsplash sets off the blue cabinetry and sandy trim ceilings and inspired the color palette for the rest of the house.
