Memorable Wreath

This creative kitchen wreath is a fun way to display a unique collection. To begin, purchase an evergreen wreath, which can be found at garden shops, roadside tree stands, and even home-improvement stores during the holidays. Next, attach a bow the coordinates with the room where you'll hang the wreath and wrap it around several times. Next, add family collectibles to the wreath; to camouflage the attachments, use green-coated florist wire. Finally, finish off the wreath with fresh greenery.

Who says the back porch has to be attached to the house? One Memphis family enjoys theirs, which is nestled in the heart of the back yard. Although the structure was part of the property when the family bought the home several years ago, its size and scale seem ideal for today. The screened porch section measures 8 x 12 feet; exposed beams on the inside give it an open feel. To the left, an enclosed room that's used for storing outdoor equipment takes up another eight feet. - Integrated Cabinets
