Matching Wreath and Garland

Noble fir and eucalyptus are an easy pairing in this matching wreath and garland. Floral wire holds it all together. Use a 24-inch conifer wreath and garland of a desired length. Cut eucalyptus branches with pods into 3- to 4-inch stems; attach each stem to a sprig of fir by wrapping them together with floral wire.

Who says the back porch has to be attached to the house? One Memphis family enjoys theirs, which is nestled in the heart of the back yard. Although the structure was part of the property when the family bought the home several years ago, its size and scale seem ideal for today. The screened porch section measures 8 x 12 feet; exposed beams on the inside give it an open feel. To the left, an enclosed room that's used for storing outdoor equipment takes up another eight feet. - Integrated Cabinets
