Built-in Shaker-style cabinetry was added to the living and dining areas of this 100-year-old Seattle home. The new cabinetry flanks the living-room fireplace and wraps around a window seat in the dining room. Tucked between the kitchen and dining room is a 4-foot-wide desk that hides clutter behind butterfly doors.
