While patching water damage in the home, the builder uncovered original timbers and decided to leave them exposed. The new ceiling is lined with corrugated metal to modernize the interior, which is furnished with streamlined furniture and minimal accessories. For a more open space, the front two rooms were combined and a storage loft, accessible by ladder, was added.
