This kitchen's backsplash was turned into an accent wall by adding colorful red and orange glass tiles arranged in a geometrical pattern. A shallow shelf faced with an ebony brown plywood panel now functions as a display alcove. Simple milk bottle–shaped pendant lights suspended over the breakfast table add a final sculptural nuance.
