Nautical Bunks
For two Washington families, vacationing together worked so well that they decided to build a joint getaway home in the northwestern
part of the state. The house is organized as a single row of rooms facing the water, with a master suite at either end. Between
them are the rooms shared by both families: a main kitchen/dining and living space, the kids' bunk room, and a screened porch
used as a flexible space for table tennis and overflow sleeping.

Integrated Cabinets
These homeowners designed this kitchen using the concept of integrated space. Visually the kitchen, rimmed with a boomerang-curved bar, is a seamless extension of the living and dining rooms. Can't spot the refrigerator? That's the idea. Panels of maple with insets of bird's-eye maple disguise the appliance. - Dream Time
