Dress up built-in shelves or nooks with strands of cedar, ribbons of eucalyptus bark and tufts of dried moss. Soak the eucalyptus bark for several hours to make it pliable. Blot the excess water, and use hot glue to fasten an end of the bark to the back of the garland. Wrap it loosely around the garland and attach the other end to the back of the garland with more hot glue. To preserve the bark's color, rub in some vegetable oil. Glue on dried moss for additional decoration.
