Home Office and Library in a Closet

This home office has been incorporated into a closet-like space along one wall of the living room of this house. The 2-foot-deep by 13-foot-long space is divided into two sections: One contains a built-in desk with shelving, the other sports floor-to-ceiling bookshelves. A large wood door, salvaged from a Seattle building, slides on a barn-door track from one opening to the other, alternately concealing the "office" or the "library."
