Foyer
This long foyer carries the outside in and imparts a bit of drama. The walls are the same stone as the exterior. The paneled wood ceiling of the covered entryway is repeated in the foyer and is stained to complement the mesquite floors. Glass doors let light in and allow unobstructed views to the back of the house. Pierced copper sconces and a distinctive hanging lantern provide a warm glow throughout the entry hall.

Outdoor Paradise
Who says the back porch has to be attached to the house? One Memphis family enjoys theirs, which is nestled in the heart of the back yard. Although the structure was part of the property when the family bought the home several years ago, its size and scale seem ideal for today. The screened porch section measures 8 x 12 feet; exposed beams on the inside give it an open feel. To the left, an enclosed room that's used for storing outdoor equipment takes up another eight feet. - Integrated Cabinets
