Give a blank roller shade an airy, elegant new look with the image of your choice, applied in a few easy steps. We combined fabric paint in dark green and golden yellow with a bit of white and black to create a leafy green. Our project cost $29, not including the shades.

Who says the back porch has to be attached to the house? One Memphis family enjoys theirs, which is nestled in the heart of the back yard. Although the structure was part of the property when the family bought the home several years ago, its size and scale seem ideal for today. The screened porch section measures 8 x 12 feet; exposed beams on the inside give it an open feel.
