English Living
From the Siamese figures flanking the center archway to the tomato-colored French chairs, this living room reflects the layered
look typical of English design. "The British brought back many different cultural influences from their colonies, so we didn't
just stick to one type of furniture or style," says Joe Minton, the designer. "We created a look that made it possible to
easily move a piece of furniture from one room to another." » see room

Outdoor Paradise
Who says the back porch has to be attached to the house? One Memphis family enjoys theirs, which is nestled in the heart of the back yard. Although the structure was part of the property when the family bought the home several years ago, its size and scale seem ideal for today. The screened porch section measures 8 x 12 feet; exposed beams on the inside give it an open feel. To the left, an enclosed room that's used for storing outdoor equipment takes up another eight feet. - Integrated Cabinets
