Made in the Shade: Roll-Up Shade
The roll-up shade, sometimes called a tied shade, is a good choice for a window covering that won't be adjusted often. Once the shade is hung, the bottom part is rolled up to the desired position and secured with ties. It usually has a plain hem that won't interfere with the shade's operation. For the best appearance, use a medium-weight fabric.

Integrated Cabinets
These homeowners designed this kitchen using the concept of integrated space. Visually the kitchen, rimmed with a boomerang-curved bar, is a seamless extension of the living and dining rooms. Can't spot the refrigerator? That's the idea. Panels of maple with insets of bird's-eye maple disguise the appliance. - Dream Time
