Above and Beyond

Take decorating to new heights by suspending a wreath over your dining table as an evergreen chandelier. Purchase a ready-made, double-sided wreath, or make your own with a straw-based form. Do this by attaching greenery with florist wire, covering the ring on all sides. On top, decorate with berries, clusters of kumquats, eucalyptus, and baby's breath. Anchor these elements with short, wooden florist picks. Tie three long ribbon lengths equally spaced around the circle, and secure the arrangement to an existing fixture.

Year-round Garden Room
This garden room is a Northwest take on the lanai. It's open on two sided and provides flexible options for outdoor living. The architect conceived it as a summer deck that would "float" in a sea of salal, but it was transformed into an all-season outdoor room when he and the owners decided to add a roof, a fireplace, and walls that slide closed in stormy weather. - Integrated Cabinets
