Glorious Greenery
The boxwood garland adorning the stone mantel at left adds a touch of color, like ribbon on a package. Boxwood isn't as full
or thick as Fraser fir or magnolia, making it perfect for narrow mantels. A magnolia wreath is a nice complement to the boxwood
garland. A satin bow adds some red, and rich wood candlesticks and beeswax candles cast a warm glow. Use florist water picks,
and place fresh greenery and berries in the garland on each end of the mantel, making sure the florist picks are hidden. » see room

Outdoor Paradise
Who says the back porch has to be attached to the house? One Memphis family enjoys theirs, which is nestled in the heart of the back yard. Although the structure was part of the property when the family bought the home several years ago, its size and scale seem ideal for today. The screened porch section measures 8 x 12 feet; exposed beams on the inside give it an open feel. To the left, an enclosed room that's used for storing outdoor equipment takes up another eight feet. - Integrated Cabinets
