Christmas Carnations
Photo: ; Stylist: ; Designer:
Bring fragrance and color to your doorway with this lush wreath, adorned with 75 carnations. A 15-inch floral foam ring, hung by fishing line, is the base; prep it by soaking it in water with flower preservative. Keep carnation stems in water while working. Cut several stems to about 2 inches; starting on the inside of the ring, poke the stems into the foam so that the flower heads sit flat and petals touch. Work around the inside of the ring, then the outside; do the front last. Hang by the fishing line and add ribbon.

Integrated Cabinets
These homeowners designed this kitchen using the concept of integrated space. Visually the kitchen, rimmed with a boomerang-curved bar, is a seamless extension of the living and dining rooms. Can't spot the refrigerator? That's the idea. Panels of maple with insets of bird's-eye maple disguise the appliance. - Dream Time
