Whimsical Farmhouse
The 1910 farmhouse in the coastal town of Moss Beach, California, has neat white trim and early 20th-century gingerbread details. It's filled with cherished old furniture downstairs, kid-focused decor upstairs, and generous amounts of vivid color. Although the master bedroom is also upstairs, it’s clear that most of the space is devoted to play.
A brightly colored playroom can be reached through tunnels leading from each child’s bedroom. Graffiti is encouraged: All
wall surfaces above the bright green and purple wainscoting are covered in blackboard paint.

Year-round Garden Room
This garden room is a Northwest take on the lanai. It's open on two sided and provides flexible options for outdoor living. The architect conceived it as a summer deck that would "float" in a sea of salal, but it was transformed into an all-season outdoor room when he and the owners decided to add a roof, a fireplace, and walls that slide closed in stormy weather. - Integrated Cabinets
