In the dining room, reproduction bistro chairs surround a pedestal table that Jim already had. “We updated it with black spray paint on the base,” says Mandy. Replacing sliding glass units with French doors improved the view of the sunny patio. White walls provide a sharp contrast for the living room’s dark leather furniture and bright red accents. The chandelier is original to the 1960s house.
