A Symphony of Color
Eric Piasecki
Views of Florida’s sparkling Intracoastal Waterway are the backdrop for this yellow and blue 18th century-styled formal living room. Designer Juan Montoya designed the room around a blue and gold Abusson rug, and embraced the textile’s colors in the floor-to-ceiling periwinkle and golden striped curtains, a pair of traditional floral sofas and tasseled throw pillows. “All of it together is like a symphony,” Montoya says.

Year-round Garden Room
This garden room is a Northwest take on the lanai. It's open on two sided and provides flexible options for outdoor living. The architect conceived it as a summer deck that would "float" in a sea of salal, but it was transformed into an all-season outdoor room when he and the owners decided to add a roof, a fireplace, and walls that slide closed in stormy weather. - Integrated Cabinets
