Shaken or stirred, this libation is best served with an olive. Why does it seem to be looking at you?

Classic Martini:

Ingredients:

8 fluid ounces gin

1/2 fluid ounce dry vermouth

1/2 fluid ounce sweet vermouth

4 cups ice cubes

4 pimento-stuffed green olives

Directions

Fill cocktail shaker with fresh ice cubes. Add 1/2 ounce each of dry and sweet vermouth. Shake enough to coat ice and pour off liquid. Add eight ounces gin to coated ice in shaker and shake vigorously. Pour into four chilled Martini glasses, garnish with pimiento-stuffed olive and serve.
