Make a Holiday Topiary

Step 1: Place a circle of plywood or particleboard on top of a container to make a secure base for the tree.

Step 2: To build the topiary, stack embellished wreath forms in incrementally smaller diameters in the following order: a moistened florist-foam ring (for greenery), an unadorned grapevine wreath, and then a craft plastic ring.

Step 3: Continue in this order to finish the tree. Top with apples held together with a florist pick; tuck a few sprigs of greenery around the apples.

Step 4: To embellish the wreaths, stick sprigs of greenery around the edges of the florist-foam rings. For the apple rings, wrap the wreath forms with sheet moss to hide the forms; use florist picks to attach the apples.
