MHI: What spaces in a room often get looked over when painting? What can paint on these areas do for the overall look and feel of a room? Any examples?

SM: Ceilings are often overlooked and can make a big difference in a room. Try painting your ceilings in a color with a hint of yellow or pink to add visual warmth. Lighting will reflect the color on the ceiling back into your space to create softness. If you’re looking to do something completely unexpected, try using a metallic or pearlescent tint glaze over a base coat of color on the ceiling.
