Inspiration Board: It’s the Little Things That Make a House a Home
We draw inspiration from design bloggers. Where do they draw their inspiration from? We asked Karla Swoveland from It’s the Little Things That Make a House a Home a few questions and from her answers, imagined what an inspiration board in her house might look like.
Mountain Views Majesty
MHI: If I had an unlimited budget, I would…
KS: Knock out the wall separating our kitchen from our living room and add a second story to our home! I love our location, our view of Mt. Rainier, and the changes that we have made to our home in the three years that we have lived here. It would be nice to stay here for many, many years to come, so if money was no object and I could dream big, I would definitely make these changes happen! I would love to have an open concept space for our kitchen, family room, and living room. And if I could build up, it would be great to have an office that Will and I could share and maybe even have a bonus room for the kids.
It’s no surprise that Karla adores her views of Washington’s Mt. Rainier. Here are a few images that show why.
